Write a short Paragraph on Annual sports of your school

                            Annual sports of your school

An old proverb says, "All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy” Truly speaking, only study without games and sports makes the students dull and weak in mind. So now sports and games have been valued as an academic subject for regular practice. And annual sports and games are arranged as usual in each school to encourage the students to participate in sports and games more and regularly. In that respect, our school goes ahead a little more. This year, in the academic session of 2018-2019, the annual sports were held in our playground on 23rd January 2019. The play-ground was beautifully decorated with colorful flags and floral designs. And the pavilion for the players and the stage for the president, chief guest and the well-known were also decorated with flowers, colorful streamers, and balloons. The micro-phone made announcements from time to time, and songs were blown through it. Overall there was a grand festive atmosphere in the school. Then shortly after the short speech of Mr.Sen. The sports meet was started. There were a variety of events in this sports meet, such as lOO meters,2000 meters High Jump, Hurdle Race, sack Race, Bicycle Race. The Relay Race was the most thrilling and interesting one. The students were bubbling with joy and excitement. Overall it was a colorful and joyous sports meet. I think that annual sports are the students’ own festival as Saraswati Puja. Some involve in the arrangement, some participate in the sports and most rejoice it.

Write a short Paragraph on A Book that you have Recently Read in 100 words

A Book I have Recently Read

One of my hobbies is reading book. I have read a lot of books, most of which I bought via Internet or in bookstore. Sometimes I borrow from my friends. I often read about two books a week. Recently I have read an interesting book named "How to win friends and influence people" written by Dale Carnegie. I found it very useful. In this book, Dale Carnegie told the stories of many successful people, who achieved their targets by influencing others. He taught me how to have a conversation with partners or friends without arguing. He also showed the best way to persuade people and some tips in communication. I think this book is necessary for everyone. It was the best selling for teenagers in Ho Chi Minh City in 2014.

Write a short paragraph on A Memorable Day in Your Life in 100/150 words

A Memorable Day in My Life

Human life is full of events. Many incidents happen in our life. Some of these are pleasant. We remember those for long. My first day at school is a memorable event in my life. I remember the day most. That day I went to school very simply. It was my new school. I set out for school taking wishes from my parents. I made several new friends, too. We exchanged greetings with one another who were familiar. We talked about various aspects of our school life. We also took down the routine from the notice board. That day I came to know some new ideas of learning. Those were quite different from primary education. The Headmaster spoke of general rules and regulations of the school. He also spoke about basic norms and values. We enjoyed ourselves during recess. I went to the common room with some of my friends and played some indoor games. After it, I and some of my friends went to the school canteen and took snacks and cold drinks. My first day at school was full of happy feelings. It gave me excitement and romance. I felt thrilled because I could learn many things in the school. Still I remember my first day at School.

Write a paragraph on Global Warming in 100 words

Global Warming

Global warming is working like a demon on the earth. It is slowly but constantly heating the planet from North Pole to South Pole because of increasing temperature of the earth surface. Emitting greenhouse gases from vehicles and CFC gas from air-conditioners are very dangerous as they are empowering this demon. Such gases especially CFC erode the ozone layer and make holes which pass ultraviolet rays and affect living beings on the earth. It has affected the environment and whole atmosphere and has resulted into the huge level climate change. The worst effects of increased global temperature are melting ice. Retreat of glaciers, sea ice, more frequent extreme weather events, heat waves, heavy rainfall and snowfall, droughts, floods, ocean acidification, species extinctions, etc are some huge impacts of Global warming. In order to reduce the effect of global warming, effective societal responses are needed to be implemented and followed urgently.
